Description

  • Design, build, and deploy production-grade data pipelines, analytics engines, and Generative AI applications using Databricks, Spark, Python/PySpark, and cloud platforms.
  • Lead technical delivery for strategic enterprise clients and translate business challenges into scalable solutions.
  • Migrate legacy platforms such as Snowflake, Teradata, Hadoop, and SQL Server to the Databricks Lakehouse.
  • Implement RAG architectures, LLM fine-tuning, MLflow, and Databricks Mosaic AI solutions.
  • Identify high-value use cases that expand platform adoption and deliver measurable client ROI.
  • Mentor junior engineers, architects, and consultants.
  • Contribute to reusable code libraries, accelerators, and technical delivery practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, machine learning, or solutions architecture.
  • 3+ years of deep Databricks experience, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Spark/PySpark, Workflows/Jobs, and Mosaic AI.
  • Practical experience deploying RAG pipelines, fine-tuning LLMs, using vector databases, and managing end-to-end ML pipelines.
  • Strong cloud architecture expertise; AWS experience is preferred, including S3, Glue, Lambda, and Redshift.
  • Proven experience migrating enterprise data warehouses or lakes to Databricks.
  • Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional and/or Machine Learning Professional certification preferred.
  • Experience leading technical delivery for Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients; Healthcare, Retail, or Consumer Goods experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including architecture reviews, POCs, demos, and C-suite stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to identify technical expansion opportunities and support account growth.
