Description

  • Provide strategic advice and guidance on DTID’s mission and long-term objectives.
  • Advise the Executive Committee on opportunities, trends, partnerships, and strategic priorities.
  • Support advocacy and stakeholder engagement efforts using professional expertise and networks where appropriate.
  • Share thought leadership on climate policy, digital emerging technologies, sustainability, and ESG.
  • Evaluate multiple inputs and impacts when assessing strategic decisions.
  • Offer independent perspectives and constructive challenge to strengthen decision-making.
  • Participate in strategic discussions, consultations, and advisory engagements as needed.
  • Contribute expertise to project development and the growth of DTID’s global partnership network.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more relevant areas.
  • Established professional or academic track record in climate, technology, or sustainability fields.
  • Significant experience in executive leadership, governance, policy-making, advisory, board, academic, or industry roles.
  • Established professional reputation and recognized standing within relevant sectors.
  • Experience advising senior decision-makers and influencing strategic outcomes.
  • Experience building constructive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively utilize personal networks or resources to benefit DTID’s mission.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven capability to work in collaborative environments.
  • Must have a can-do mindset.
