Description

  • Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Perform penetration testing using a structured approach from passive to active techniques.
  • Identify and analyze indicators of compromise, unauthorized access attempts, and data exfiltration risks.
  • Manage misconfigurations and insecure network services.
  • Apply and interpret CVSS scores to prioritize cybersecurity risks.
  • Conduct threat hunting to detect active or persistent threats in enterprise environments.
  • Provide incident response support, including containment, eradication, and recovery recommendations.
  • Advise on cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk, compliance, and remediation planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis when applicable.
  • Experience supporting large, complex enterprise environments, preferably in government or criminal justice agencies.
  • Experience with CJIS Security Policy requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in threat hunting, threat intelligence, penetration testing, ethical hacking, vulnerability management, incident response, or digital forensics.
  • Experience in both offensive security roles and defensive security roles.
  • Selected candidate must successfully complete a Level II Background Check.
  • Preferred: Experience conducting red team and adversarial simulation exercises.
  • Preferred: Ability to support cybersecurity roadmap development and maturity assessments.
  • Preferred: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, GIAC, CISM, or CISA.
  • Preferred: Experience integrating with client MSPs and internal IT teams.
