Description

  • Engage client stakeholders to understand business, reporting, and analytics requirements.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and executive audiences.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Power BI solutions and data models.
  • Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
  • Develop advanced DAX calculations and Power Query/M transformations.
  • Create and maintain dimensional data models and appropriate relationships.
  • Configure Row-Level Security and dynamic hierarchies aligned with user roles.
  • Analyze and cleanse data while troubleshooting data-quality and reporting issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on data integration, architecture, and reporting requirements.
  • Provide senior-level Power BI implementation guidance and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of BI and data analytics experience with significant hands-on Power BI delivery.
  • Advanced expertise with Power BI, SQL, DAX, and Power Query/M.
  • Experience with dimensional modeling, data warehouses, and ER models.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Row-Level Security and dynamic hierarchies.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI Service and enterprise data modeling.
  • Prior experience working directly with U.S. clients and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong client-facing communication, consulting, and independent advisory skills.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Analysis Services, Azure data technologies, and version control.
  • Must be U.S.-based, available during standard U.S. business hours, and permanently authorized to work without visa sponsorship.
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft PL-300, DP-600, DP-700, PL-900, or Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate.
