Description

  • Advise Arootah clients on trading-related needs for alternative asset managers and family offices.
  • Develop realistic monthly action plans and break goals into actionable steps.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and control measures to support client action plans.
  • Review, analyze, and report on client tools and resources to align with best practices.
  • Track progress using KPIs and scoring matrices.
  • Maintain accurate records of consulting outcomes, including challenges and breakthroughs.
  • Manage the full trade lifecycle, including booking, settlement, and problem resolution.
  • Perform pre-trade checks and coordinate execution with traders and portfolio managers.
  • Handle post-trade functions such as confirmations and broker allocations.
  • Work with prime brokers, administrators, custodians, and counterparties to resolve discrepancies and ensure settlement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience at an alternative asset manager, hedge fund, or family office.
  • Hands-on experience reconciling and resolving trade breaks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently, multi-task under pressure, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Demonstrated quantitative aptitude.
  • Understanding of basic financial concepts through coursework or work experience.
  • Experience with different asset classes in a high-volume environment.
  • Knowledge of settlement practices and procedures, including back-office custodian, brokerage, and clearing agencies.
