Description

  • Source, track, and manage a high volume of candidates while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Partner with business leaders to define hiring needs and influence talent strategy.
  • Build trust and strong operating rhythms with cross-functional stakeholders to support company growth.
  • Learn the product positioning, market fit, technical roadmap, and team culture to better represent the opportunity to candidates.
  • Pitch the team and role effectively to close exceptional technical talent.
  • Track and analyze pipeline and performance data to identify opportunities and improve recruiting outcomes.
  • Develop recruiting strategies that support long-range company growth, including referral practices and process improvements.
  • Use prospecting, information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, process automation, and candidate management tools and techniques.
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Boolean searches, referral campaigns, and SOBO campaigns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience recruiting and sourcing for technical roles, with a track record of closing top-tier engineering talent; startup or software experience preferred.
  • Experience hiring across engineering disciplines, including software, hardware, or both.
  • 3+ years of client interaction experience with hiring managers and directors, including intake, profile review, and pipeline updates.
  • Experience providing consultative guidance that improves outcomes and candidate experience.
  • Strong understanding of the technical skills and experience required for engineering roles.
  • Clear and effective communication skills for understanding candidate motivation, drivers, and fit.
  • Experience managing candidate pipelines and tracking progress through the recruiting process.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and HRIS systems.
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of sourcing channels; startup, tech, or relevant domain experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision is preferred.
  • Resilient, creative, and adaptable in solving problems on the fly is preferred.
  • Direct, succinct communication, active listening, and strong collaboration habits are preferred.
  • High ownership mindset and low ego/high curiosity are preferred.
