Description

  • Own projects from user research and workflow discovery through prototyping, implementation, launch, and iteration.
  • Design operational workflows involving multiple roles, data sources, business rules, approvals, exceptions, and audit requirements.
  • Create functional AI-powered prototypes to align stakeholders.
  • Write and contribute front-end code in production environments, including code review, testing, deployment, and iteration.
  • Conduct interviews, observation, workflow analysis, and usability testing with financial operations users.
  • Design data-rich interfaces for monitoring activity, investigating issues, managing exceptions, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver reliable tools.
  • Develop scalable design-system patterns for tables, forms, dashboards, alerts, approvals, audit histories, and AI-assisted interactions.
  • Manage multiple initiatives independently while communicating progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product design experience in startups or other fast-paced environments.
  • Experience designing and launching products in complex or technical industries such as financial services, healthcare, infrastructure, logistics, manufacturing, aerospace, or automotive.
  • Ability to read and build with API documentation.
  • Experience translating complex processes, data, business rules, and edge cases into clear, efficient experiences.
  • Understanding of auditability and regulatory considerations in product design.
  • Ability to work independently and create structure in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong communication skills across product, engineering, operations, and business teams.
  • Experience with user research, systems design, AI prototyping, and production code.
  • Experience designing complex operational or data-rich tools preferred.
