Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, make product decisions, and ship meaningful updates.
  • Apply strategic thinking to sequence execution and prioritize informed product bets.
  • Design membership experiences that scale across markets while maintaining local relevance.
  • Evolve AllTrails’ design language and systemize visual and motion effects.
  • Use AI tools and front-end code to explore, communicate, and advance design concepts.
  • Contribute to and leverage the company’s evolving design system.
  • Own deliverables independently from initial exploration through execution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience researching, designing, and shipping consumer-facing digital products across iOS, Android, and web.
  • Extensive B2C product design experience.
  • Experience taking concepts through release and evaluating post-launch performance.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, estimate scope accurately, and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Ability to facilitate feedback, refine designs, and align work with business objectives.
  • Ability to provide design direction and pattern recommendations to cross-functional partners.
  • Strong stakeholder management and buy-in-building skills for high-impact initiatives.
  • Expertise in visual, interaction, motion, branding, illustration, color theory, and visual storytelling.
  • Strong design systems thinking and AI fluency, including prompt creation, output evaluation, and iterative refinement.
  • Strong digital presence and demonstrated ability to engage and grow online communities.
  • U.S.-based availability for a remote contract, up to 30 hours per week, beginning the week of September 28 or October 5, 2026, through March 19, 2027.

Benefits

  • $100–$130 hourly compensation.
