Description

Architect and deliver complex, high-value platform features that are scalable and observable.
Translate ambiguous business requirements into staged technical execution plans and production solutions.
Define technical patterns for multi-entity consolidation and global tax compliance across NOAM, EMEA, and APAC.
Integrate AI workflows to improve engineering throughput, implementation, and debugging without compromising quality.
Identify technical tradeoffs and architectural pressure points early to reduce long-term complexity and prevent roadmap bottlenecks.
Own delivery outcomes, including OKRs, KPIs, quality, timelines, and blocker resolution.
Refactor fragile code paths and raise standards for code review and documentation.
Communicate technical debt and architectural decisions in terms of business impact to stakeholders.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design guidance, and AI-native practices.

Requirements

6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Ability to lead complex projects from ambiguous requirements through successful production delivery.
Experience designing testable solutions for high-consequence business logic.
Strong technical judgment in managing architecture, tradeoffs, and verification discipline.
Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous, globally distributed environment with high autonomy.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders and time zones.
Experience in fintech, payments, or ERP-integrated SaaS is preferred.
