Description

Architect and deliver complex, high-value platform features that are scalable and observable.
Translate ambiguous business requirements into staged technical execution plans.
Define technical patterns for multi-entity consolidation and global tax compliance across NOAM, EMEA, and APAC.
Integrate AI workflows to improve engineering throughput, implementation, and debugging without compromising quality.
Identify technical trade-offs early and select designs that reduce long-term complexity and maintenance overhead.
Own delivery outcomes, including OKRs, KPIs, quality, timelines, and blocker resolution.
Proactively refactor fragile code paths and raise standards for code review and documentation.
Anticipate and resolve architectural bottlenecks before they affect the product roadmap.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design guidance, and AI-native practices.
Communicate technical debt and architectural decisions in terms of business impact to stakeholders.

Requirements

6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience leading complex projects from ambiguous requirements through production delivery.
Ability to design testable solutions for high-consequence business logic.
Experience working effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous, globally distributed environment.
Strong autonomy, self-direction, and ability to manage work across time zones.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in fintech, payments, or ERP-integrated SaaS is preferred.
