Description

  • Architect, deploy, and support production-grade platform infrastructure and customer-facing AI features.
  • Design foundational infrastructure that enables teams to build, test, and release AI capabilities safely.
  • Translate ambiguous business and user needs into staged technical execution plans.
  • Develop automated validation and verification frameworks for AI models and high-consequence financial logic.
  • Integrate AI/ML models with backend and frontend systems.
  • Manage and optimize AWS services, including ECS, Lambda, Postgres, DynamoDB, S3, Bedrock, and Amplify.
  • Identify architectural bottlenecks, refactor fragile areas, and maintain high code quality.
  • Mentor engineers through design guidance, code reviews, and AI-native development practices.
  • Communicate technical outcomes, tradeoffs, and challenges to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain data quality, privacy, and ethical AI standards while evaluating emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in fintech, platform development, ERP integrations, or SaaS applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, including complex backend architecture.
  • Experience with relational SQL databases and non-relational storage.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS services, cloud infrastructure management, and deployment pipelines for scalable AI workloads.
  • Experience designing automated testing and verification solutions for high-consequence business logic.
  • Experience leading complex projects from ambiguity through production delivery in globally distributed teams.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
  • Experience building custom AI-assisted coding skills and integrating Model Context Protocols (MCPs), including tools such as Jira.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills; familiarity with data science and model tuning is preferred.
