Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
  • Develop and optimize data models in a modern cloud data warehouse.
  • Build and maintain ELT/ETL workflows and orchestration processes.
  • Partner with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver trusted datasets.
  • Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting across pipelines.
  • Handle sensitive data responsibly and support privacy and compliance standards.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the platform’s data architecture.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional data engineering experience.
  • Expert-level SQL and strong Python skills.
  • Hands-on experience with a modern cloud data stack such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift; dbt; and Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Track record of building reliable, well-documented pipelines at scale.
  • Strong written and spoken English for daily collaboration with a U.S.-based team.
  • Based in Latin America and able to work U.S.-overlapping hours reliably.
  • Experience in healthcare, health tech, or other regulated data environments (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub (nice to have).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD for data workflows (nice to have).
  • Exposure to ML pipelines or feature engineering (nice to have).
