Description

  • Translate and review content from English into Simplified Chinese while preserving the original meaning.
  • Ensure translated content is readable and understandable for the target audience.
  • Work on marketing, product, and support content types.
  • Take ownership of incoming work for the account and help support program success.
  • Follow content instructions such as character restrictions and other localization requirements.
  • Communicate the rationale behind translation decisions when needed.
  • Collaborate in a multi-vendor environment when applicable.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter.
  • Native fluency in Simplified Chinese.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
  • Well-versed in various translation and terminology tools.
  • Ability to both translate and review content.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, including character restrictions.
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor scenario is a plus.
