Description

  • Review machine-translated song lyrics from Korean (KR) to English (US) and assess overall translation quality.
  • Evaluate meaning, fluency, and naturalness of translated lyrics.
  • Assign quality ratings using predefined evaluation criteria and guidelines.
  • Identify mistranslations, awkward expressions, and culturally inappropriate content.
  • Maintain consistent, objective judgments across large volumes of content.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to help improve machine translation outputs.
  • Use online evaluation tools or platforms as required by the project.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Korean (Korea) and English (United States) with deep understanding of linguistic nuances, idioms, and cultural context.
  • Ability to focus on and accurately review large volumes of content with attention to detail.
  • Experience in translation, localization, or language quality evaluation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various music genres and lyric styles is a plus.
  • Experience using online evaluation tools or review platforms is preferred.
  • Availability to work remotely with a flexible schedule, averaging about 4 hours per day.
  • Willingness to review and consent to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) as part of the onboarding/questionnaire.
  • Open to freelancers and students; able to commit to a long-term project.
