Description

  • Review completed keypoint annotations against source thermal images for person count and per-person completeness.
  • Verify that each keypoint is placed as close as possible to the true anatomical center of the body part.
  • Evaluate inferred keypoints for occluded or obstructed body parts for anatomical plausibility.
  • Check that confidence flags are applied correctly and identify missing or misused flags.
  • Identify systematic annotation errors and recurring confusion patterns for annotator calibration.
  • Provide specific, actionable feedback on rejected or revised annotations in Label Studio.
  • Participate in periodic calibration sessions to align QC standards with updated guidelines.
  • Track and document review outcomes, error types, and annotator performance trends.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in computer vision annotation QA, review, or a related quality-control role.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and pose structure for keypoint assessment, including inferred and occluded cases.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to catch subtle placement and inference errors.
  • Comfort working with thermal/infrared imagery and its visual limitations.
  • Ability to apply detailed annotation and QC guidelines consistently in ambiguous or edge cases.
  • Strong written communication skills for constructive feedback to annotators.
  • Familiarity with Label Studio and its review/approval workflows, or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Reliable, self-directed work habits with the ability to meet review turnaround expectations.
  • Direct experience with human pose estimation datasets such as COCO keypoints or keypoint QA (preferred).
  • Experience with thermal/infrared imagery QA (preferred).
  • Background in computer vision, robotics, or security/surveillance imaging (preferred).
  • Experience managing structured QA and rework feedback loops for annotation teams (preferred).
