Description

  • Watch short robot manipulation videos from three synchronized camera angles.
  • Break videos into time segments and write natural-language descriptions for each segment.
  • Apply labels at the atomic motion, skill/subtask, and task/goal levels.
  • Ensure every moment of video is covered with no gaps, including idle or pause moments.
  • Accurately document failures, drops, failed grasps, slips, and other unexpected outcomes.
  • Cross-reference overhead and wrist-mounted camera views to verify scene context, object identity, contact, and grasp details.
  • Follow a detailed style guide for action vocabulary, spatial relationships, object descriptions, and movement manner.
  • Participate in periodic calibration sessions to align labeling with team and client reference examples.

Requirements

  • Strong written English with the ability to write dozens of precise descriptive sentences per video.
  • Sharp attention to detail and ability to distinguish small differences in robot actions.
  • Comfort following a detailed, structured style guide consistently, including in ambiguous or edge-case scenarios.
  • Basic comfort with spatial and mechanical description, including left/right, above/below, and object parts.
  • Reliable, self-directed work habits with periodic check-ins rather than close supervision.
  • Prior experience with video annotation, data labeling, transcription, or QA work (preferred).
  • Familiarity with robotics terminology such as grippers, end-effectors, and manipulation (preferred).
  • Experience with annotation tools such as Label Studio (preferred).
