Description

  • Evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs.
  • Assess viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance from a user-focused perspective.
  • Review personalized location recommendations for relevance and helpfulness.
  • Follow project instructions carefully and complete tasks accurately.
  • Tag specific issues in map designs, such as improperly masked icons or labels that are too small.
  • Work on a weekly project basis and respond when contacted for available project rounds.

Requirements

  • Must be located in the United States and have the right to work in the United States.
  • Must have an existing, actively used Gmail account with prior usage history on Google Maps.
  • Must be available for freelance, hourly work at $20.30 per hour.
  • Participation is limited to a maximum of three project rounds.
  • Must consent to limited access to elements of activity history and sign a consent form before participation.
  • Ability to think critically about spatial accuracy, relevance, and context is expected.
  • An eye for artistic detail and intuitive design is preferred.
  • Ability to follow strict project guidelines and tag issues precisely is required.

Benefits

  • $20.30 hourly rate.
