Description

Validate language codes in HTML and PDF metadata and identify mixed-language content missing proper declarations.
Test translated content with native-language screen readers for accuracy, clarity, and natural phrasing.
Review hidden elements, tooltips, error messages, alt text, and UI labels in the target language.
Evaluate captions, transcripts, audio descriptions, and multimedia controls for accessibility and correct labeling.
Log defects with WCAG/PDF-UA references, screenshots or recordings, and severity classifications.
Participate in review calls with the QA Lead as needed.
Use the provided scope, test checklist, and access credentials to complete project-based assignments.
Flag unclear checklist items or findings that fall outside the defined scope.

Requirements

Native or near-native fluency in German.
Hands-on experience testing digital content with assistive technology.
Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 AA and EN 301 549.
Ability to assess accessibility from a native-speaker usability perspective.
Reliable access to appropriate devices and operating systems for target-locale testing.
Strong written English communication skills for defect reporting and general communication (preferred).
Experience with PDF accessibility testing using PAC 3 or Adobe Acrobat Pro Accessibility Checker (preferred).
Familiarity with internationalization, localization, and translation workflows (preferred).
Personal use of assistive technology (preferred).
Relevant accessibility certifications such as CPACC, WAS, or DHS Trusted Tester (preferred).
