Description

  • Listen to 5-second audio clips and transcribe them exactly as spoken.
  • Follow a documented style guide for punctuation, formatting, and audio flags.
  • Identify and flag clips with background noise, cut-off speech, or unclear audio using the provided codes.
  • Maintain an average completion time of about 125 seconds per task.
  • Work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute high-quality annotation data that improves the platform's understanding of Portuguese dialects.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native fluency in Portuguese.
  • Strong written language skills with a solid understanding of punctuation and sentence structure.
  • Reliable computer, high-quality headphones, and a stable internet connection.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to consistently apply structured guidelines.
  • Availability to commit 10–20 hours per week for up to 6 weeks.
  • Prior experience in transcription, data annotation, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
  • Location: Portugal and Portuguese language capability for the project.
