Description

  • Create and evaluate professional finance deliverables across operational finance functions, including P&L and mark-to-market reconciliations, month-end close, AP reconciliations, P2P workflows, three-statement models, pro forma analysis, purchase accounting, covenant compliance, credit analysis, and partnership accounting.
  • Analyze complex financial documents such as trial balances, agreements, financial statements, internal memos, emails, and term sheets.
  • Distinguish material financial information from irrelevant or distracting details and apply sound professional judgment.
  • Review AI-generated financial analyses for technical accuracy, completeness, reasoning, and alignment with accounting and finance standards.
  • Prepare executive-ready summaries that explain assumptions, key variances, financial impacts, and recommendations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in non-investment finance functions such as Financial Control, Product Control, Corporate FP&A, Technical Accounting, Treasury, Financial Operations, AP/P2P, Commercial Banking Credit, or Partnership/Professional Services Finance.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Additional knowledge of ASC 805 and ASC 606 is an advantage.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including linked three-statement models, reconciliations, pro forma modeling, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
  • Ability to make well-reasoned financial judgments when information is incomplete, ambiguous, or conflicting.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce executive-level financial documentation and recommendations.
  • Experience in investment management, portfolio management, or capital markets is not required.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the applicable hiring location.
  • Visa sponsorship, including H-1B and STEM OPT support, is not available.
