Description

  • Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify meaningful similarities or overlaps.
  • Evaluate lyrics for quality, creativity, originality, prompt adherence, and overall effectiveness.
  • Assess whether lyrics sound natural and authentic to Norwegian speakers.
  • Review word choice, phrasing, slang, idioms, regional expressions, and cultural nuances.
  • Apply evaluation guidelines consistently across genres and lyrical styles.
  • Identify awkward, unnatural, repetitive, or culturally inappropriate language.
  • Provide clear feedback to improve AI-generated music and lyric outputs.
  • Use critical listening and professional musical judgment when assessing AI-generated content.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native Norwegian proficiency.
  • Strong ability to read and follow detailed written instructions in English.
  • Professional or substantial experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, music journalist, or related music professional.
  • Strong knowledge of the Norwegian music industry and contemporary music landscape.
  • Familiarity with Norwegian genres, sub-genres, artists, songwriting conventions, and cultural expressions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to explain why lyrics are effective or ineffective.
  • Access to headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.
  • Formal education or training in music performance, music theory, composition, or songwriting preferred.
  • Credited, published, or commercially released songwriting work preferred.
  • Previous experience evaluating AI-generated or other creative content, or using structured quality-rating frameworks, preferred.

Benefits

  • Compensation of $42–$78 per hour.
  • Fully remote work with flexible scheduling.
  • Flexible commitment, typically around 20 hours per week with no fixed weekly cap.
  • Independent contractor engagement lasting up to six months.
  • Weekly payments based on services rendered.
  • Immediate start date.
