Description

  • Review completed display transcription tasks for accuracy and consistency.
  • Compare display transcriptions with original lexical transcripts and project guidelines.
  • Verify punctuation, capitalization, and text normalization for numbers, dates, times, currencies, and abbreviations.
  • Ensure original words and meaning are preserved in formatted text.
  • Identify and correct formatting and guideline-related errors.
  • Use reference audio to resolve ambiguous cases when needed.
  • Apply project quality standards consistently.
  • Provide feedback, flag recurring issues, and complete QC tasks within deadlines and productivity targets.

Requirements

  • Excellent written skills in the target language.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of punctuation, capitalization, and written-language conventions.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies and errors in formatted text.
  • Ability to follow detailed guidelines consistently.
  • Basic computer skills and a reliable internet connection.
  • Ability to work independently and meet quality and productivity targets.
  • Experience in transcription, proofreading, quality control, annotation, or linguistic projects is preferred.
