Description

  • Design, develop, and implement security automation workflows for defined client use cases
  • Build integrations between security platforms, ServiceNow, and enterprise applications using REST APIs and Microsoft Graph
  • Develop and maintain Python-based Azure Functions for automation and integrations
  • Create and use KQL queries, including Microsoft Defender advanced hunting, to retrieve and analyze security data
  • Automate security alert triage, incident handling, notifications, and case-management processes
  • Use Microsoft Entra ID to automate identity-related processes, including group membership and application credential changes
  • Implement Azure DevOps pipelines and support controlled releases for Azure Functions
  • Test, troubleshoot, and optimize workflows and integrations for reliability
  • Build reusable components, create runbooks, and lead knowledge-transfer sessions with client engineers
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate requirements into practical automation solutions while following change-control processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering, security automation, systems integration, or a related discipline
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing security or workflow automation solutions
  • Strong Python development experience, including building and deploying Azure Functions
  • Experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL), particularly Microsoft Defender advanced hunting
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with security platforms or enterprise applications
  • Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs and application integrations
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph and Microsoft Entra ID, including group membership automation and application registration credentials
  • Experience implementing Azure DevOps pipelines for Azure Functions and working within change-control processes
  • Experience with a security orchestration or workflow automation platform, such as Tines, Torq, Swimlane, Splunk SOAR, Cortex XSOAR, Sentinel Playbooks, or Azure Logic Apps
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; must pass a background check
