Description

  • Support the Chief Product Officer in executing the product roadmap and coordinating milestones across departments.
  • Serve as a liaison between product, engineering, marketing, customer support, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and gather user feedback to inform product and growth decisions.
  • Work with engineering and design teams to define product requirements, oversee feature development, and improve product quality.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and prepare regular reports for the CPO and stakeholders.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes clearly to internal teams and external partners when needed.
  • Support end-to-end experimentation for Growth and Core Product workstreams.
  • Peer-review growth code and experiment analysis, and assist with code reviews.
  • Help launch experiments in Google Firebase and debug code with the product development team.
  • Assist with QA for new features and own the translation of winning experiments across languages and platforms.

Requirements

  • Background in software engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in JSON and Java or JavaScript; SQL is a bonus.
  • Comfort with statistical significance and common sources of statistical bias.
  • Understanding of the basics of good experimental design.
  • Passion for growth, metrics, and delivering an outstanding user experience.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset.
  • Passion for learning and interest in behavioral science is a bonus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, another technical major, or related work experience is preferred.
  • Experience designing and running AB/RCT trials is preferred.
  • Background in data science is a bonus, and interest in machine learning is a plus.
