Description

  • Define product specifications and roadmap priorities for monetization and commerce-data capabilities.
  • Design a canonical event model across video, live shopping, timelines, polls, chat, carts, and checkout.
  • Build identity resolution, consent management, attribution, and reporting that connect ad exposure to transactions.
  • Develop on-site retail media capabilities, including sponsored-placement delivery, ranking, campaign setup, pacing, and reporting.
  • Reconcile third-party reporting with Terrific’s internal event logs and explain measurement differences to customers.
  • Develop campaign and audience APIs for external buying platforms and evaluate future integrations with Google Ad Manager and Prebid.
  • Recommend build-versus-rent decisions and shortlist external advertising-stack providers.
  • Work directly with retailer analytics leads and commercial teams to identify needs and deliver usable data products.
  • Instrument, monitor, and improve shipped products and data pipelines, using AI to accelerate prototyping, testing, documentation, and discrepancy detection.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience building production data or backend systems.
  • Experience with event pipelines, data modeling, and analytics infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and strong SQL.
  • Experience with BigQuery and Pub/Sub or closely related technologies.
  • Experience owning products or systems end to end, from defining scope through production delivery.
  • Ability to design maintainable data models and write clear specifications and technical documentation.
  • Strong judgment regarding effort, risk, scope, and commercial value.
  • Ability to work independently in a distributed, international team and communicate directly with customers.
  • Based in Europe or a compatible European time zone, with availability for a full-time remote engagement.
  • Professional written and spoken English fluency; deep experience in eCommerce, Marketing, or Media and working knowledge of the other two areas.
  • Experience with ad-exposure-to-transaction data, attribution, identity resolution, clean rooms, conversion APIs, retail media, publisher monetization, or non-technical analytics products is preferred.
  • Spanish, Portuguese, or French language skills are preferred.
