Description

Lead and coordinate a distributed team of frontend, backend, mobile, and DevOps engineers.
Provide architectural guidance across all layers of the platform.
Drive technical decisions and ensure alignment with the client’s engineering guidelines and product roadmap.
Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact between the delivery team and client stakeholders.
Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies proactively.
Facilitate sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives with project management.

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
3+ years of experience in a technical lead or architect role managing cross-functional teams.
Strong proficiency in full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems, including React, Next.js, Node.js, and Fastify.
Working knowledge of React Native and mobile development workflows.
Experience with cloud-native architectures, with GCP preferred, including Kubernetes and Cloud Run.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Redis/Valkey, and headless CMS platforms, with Sanity preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across US time zones.
Prior experience in sports, media, or entertainment platforms is preferred.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code is preferred.
Familiarity with performance optimization and caching strategies at scale is preferred.
