Description

  • Write, design, and execute automated test scripts for repeated testing activities.
  • Create automation environments and test automation solutions using multiple automation tools.
  • Maximize test coverage for critical system features.
  • Determine test scenario priority and develop execution plans.
  • Write documentation for automated processes, including test plans, test cases, and procedures.
  • Log, document, and track bugs in the defect management system.
  • Set up and maintain continuous integration for automated testing.
  • Perform exploratory testing when needed to understand customer-facing functionality.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on testing plans and error reporting.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience is required.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of automation experience is required.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as REST Assured, Rest Sharp, and JMeter.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
  • Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and task creation.
  • Strong analytical skills to prioritize tests and streamline testing processes.
  • Strong attention to detail for testing web and mobile applications.
  • Strong verbal communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
  • Ability to suggest framework enhancements to support scripting needs.
  • Experience in e-commerce is preferred.
  • Experience working in offshore, nearshore, or onshore models is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile methodology is preferred.
