Description

  • Create, develop, and improve automation test suites across projects.
  • Build automated tests within test frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Write and run automated test scripts and regression suites.
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing on web and mobile applications.
  • Work with development teams and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Accurately record, track, and report defects raised during testing.
  • Contribute to Agile planning and estimation activities as part of the team.
  • Support testing efforts for cutting-edge web-based solutions in a cross-functional product team.

Requirements

  • 3–6 month contract availability.
  • Experience in QA testing of web-based applications.
  • Experience with cross-browser functional testing.
  • Experience writing test cases and working with bug tracking and reporting tools.
  • Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of BDD (Behaviour Driven Development).
  • Experience with automated API testing using RestAssured.
  • Confidence in writing, programming, and running automated tests.
  • Midlands-based candidates preferred, with hybrid work of 2 days in the office and 3 days remote; UK remote candidates considered if able to travel to the Midlands occasionally.
