Description

  • Maintain and enhance a live, feature-complete production platform.
  • Build new features across both backend and frontend.
  • Deliver incremental improvements to backend APIs.
  • Support the Studio product in production.
  • Work primarily on backend development with some frontend contribution.
  • Independently design and document APIs.
  • Follow established codebase patterns and deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with an existing engineering team while self-managing day to day.
  • Support containerized services deployed through the existing cloud setup.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools as part of the engineering workflow.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience is ideal.
  • 4–6 years of minimum professional experience required.
  • 4+ years of experience with Node.js and/or NestJS.
  • 3+ years of experience with Angular and 1.5 years with React.
  • 3+ years of experience with Docker and/or Docker Compose.
  • 4+ years of experience with REST API design.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • 2+ years of experience with Swagger and/or API documentation, or strong API discipline.
  • 1+ year of working experience with AI tools such as Claude, MCP, LLM APIs, or similar.
  • Mid to senior level engineering experience with the ability to work independently and within an existing team.
  • Nice to have: 1+ year of experience with microservices architecture.
