Description

  • Lead SAP PM projects from initiation through go-live, aligning delivery with business priorities and plant maintenance strategies.
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, and resource plans for SAP PM initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and Quality.
  • Develop and execute transition plans to ensure smooth handover into operations.
  • Establish readiness criteria, cutover plans, validation steps, and acceptance documentation.
  • Assess impacts on maintenance workflows, reliability programs, asset management, and production operations.
  • Coordinate training, documentation updates, and SOP alignment for new processes and capabilities.
  • Provide functional guidance on SAP PM work orders, maintenance plans, asset structures, notifications, and master data.
  • Support the design, testing, and validation of SAP PM enhancements and integrations.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, change activities, and lessons learned across project and transition phases.
  • Act as the primary communication bridge among business leaders, plant teams, and technical delivery teams.
  • Provide status reporting, escalation management, and decision-support documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in Project Management, Service Transition, or Operational Readiness roles.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) in a business or IT capacity.
  • Experience working in CPG and/or Wholesale industries, preferably in manufacturing or distribution operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives with strong operational impact.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP PM processes and plant maintenance operations.
  • Strong leadership, project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset with strong governance discipline.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation or higher preferred for transition and service readiness.
  • SAP Plant Maintenance certification preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.
