Description

  • Collaborate with application development teams to deploy, scale, and manage cloud-native applications.
  • Administer and maintain Kubernetes clusters on bare metal and OpenShift platforms.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cluster performance and reliability.
  • Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible and Helm.
  • Ensure security best practices and compliance standards within Kubernetes clusters.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of job-related work experience beyond degree requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proven experience developing and deploying cloud-native Kubernetes applications.
  • Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes clusters in bare-metal and/or public cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (preferred).
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages for automation.
  • Linux administration skills (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security within Kubernetes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
