Description

  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to capture business objectives and priorities.
  • Analyze and document current processes and identify opportunities for improvement and re-engineering.
  • Develop business cases outlining costs, benefits, and risks to support decision-making.
  • Create functional specifications, use cases, and user stories to guide implementation.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure solutions align with business needs.
  • Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes and enhancements.
  • Support testing and quality assurance activities to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
  • Prepare training materials and deliver end-user training; act as liaison between end-users, technical teams, and consultants.
  • Consolidate findings into clear documentation to support decisions and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Commerce, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years as a Business Analyst in complex environments.
  • 5+ years in process analysis and re-engineering.
  • 5+ years writing requirements, use cases, and user stories.
  • 5+ years working in Agile project environments.
  • Strong political acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship skills.
  • Proven ability to frame problems and integrate information for decisions.
  • Experience with Business Analysis frameworks (BABOK), Agile methodologies, MS Office Suite, and collaboration tools.
  • IIBA certification (CBAP or similar) and previous government/public sector experience are preferred.
