Description

  • Support the migration of existing services to the Application Platform with minimal disruption to product and business operations.
  • Help maintain and understand the current Linux DevOps environment before and during the migration.
  • Design and implement an optimal migration plan for running services in a new production environment.
  • Work with AWS-based infrastructure that supports cloud products and self-service delivery.
  • Operate within a 'You Build it, You Run it' model for platform ownership and service enablement.
  • Work with CI/CD infrastructure hosted on Jenkins and JFrog.
  • Support services running on EKS and serverless environments.
  • Help product teams monitor and observe applications using Datadog.
  • Create and consume REST APIs as part of application and platform work.
  • Contribute to containerized and networked application environments using Docker and networking concepts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working experience with AWS.
  • Working experience with Jenkins.
  • Working experience with CDK or Ansible.
  • Experience with Linux DevOps work and maintaining existing systems.
  • Ability to create and consume REST APIs.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Familiarity with React.
  • In-depth experience with Docker and networking.
  • In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services and interaction with AWS services and APIs such as CDK, Lambda, RDS, ALB, OpenSearch, and ECS.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and AWS networking is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Go is a plus.
