Description

  • Design and deliver event-driven pipelines using AWS serverless services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, and API Gateway.
  • Develop Kafka and Amazon MSK consumers and producers for high-throughput, low-latency streaming and decoupled microservices.
  • Build and optimize TypeScript or Python services and APIs for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
  • Integrate with AWS data services including S3, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, and CloudWatch for storage, metadata, querying, and observability.
  • Implement reliability patterns such as idempotency, retries, dead-letter queues, and schema evolution strategies.
  • Use Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and infrastructure deployments.
  • Define application-layer infrastructure with AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate on technical design, story sizing, peer reviews, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience building cloud-native, application-side solutions on AWS.
  • Strong experience with Kafka or Amazon MSK for streaming architectures.
  • Experience developing in TypeScript, preferred, or Python.
  • Experience with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, and API Gateway.
  • Experience with AWS data services such as S3, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience implementing resilient, observable, and scalable distributed systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Experience with automated unit, integration, and load testing.
  • Experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
  • Preferred background working in agile teams and contributing to technical design and peer review.
