Description

  • Travel to assigned client and worksite locations to conduct drug screenings.
  • Verify participant identities and explain testing procedures and required documentation.
  • Conduct authorized drug-screen collections using approved methods and supplies.
  • Follow collection, handling, labeling, chain-of-custody, and documentation procedures.
  • Accurately record screening information and submit required documentation promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and securely handle testing materials and records.
  • Report incomplete tests, refusals, specimen concerns, and other irregularities to Quick Hire Staffing.
  • Follow workplace safety and infection-control procedures.
  • Communicate professionally and neutrally with employees, applicants, supervisors, and client representatives.
  • Forward tests requiring laboratory confirmation or Medical Review Officer review according to established procedures without interpreting results or making employment decisions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous experience in drug-screen collections, occupational health, healthcare, staffing, HR compliance, or a related field preferred.
  • Drug-screen collector training or certification preferred and required when applicable to the testing method.
  • Ability to follow detailed collection and chain-of-custody procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
  • Ability to protect confidential employee, applicant, and testing information.
  • Professional communication and customer-service skills.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned locations.
  • Availability for scheduled and, when accepted, short-notice assignments.
  • Ability to work as an independent contractor and comply with applicable legal and contractual requirements.
