Description

  • Lead clinical study operations, including planning, timelines, budgets, monitoring, site and vendor management, supplies, and data collection.
  • Serve as the primary contact among sponsors, study teams, vendors, and functional groups.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute project plans such as monitoring, communication, project management, and eTMF plans.
  • Manage study teams through delegation, motivation, mentorship, training, and resource planning.
  • Ensure compliance with GCP, SOPs, regulatory requirements, protocols, scopes of work, and study plans.
  • Provide financial oversight, including budget management and out-of-scope tracking.
  • Monitor study progress, reassess critical paths, adjust timelines, and escalate risks or issues.
  • Oversee vendor activities and ensure effective communication among vendors, sponsors, and study teams.
  • Provide senior management with regular study updates, health status, resourcing needs, and sponsor issues.

Requirements

  • RN, bachelor’s or advanced degree in biological sciences or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, relevant experience, and prior CRA experience.
  • Experience successfully managing multifaceted clinical studies from inception through completion.
  • Proven effectiveness as a clinical project team leader.
  • Experience managing projects in a virtual environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to lead by example and encourage team members to independently solve problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and OneNote preferred.
