Description

  • Design physical objects suitable for 3D printing using open-source CAD software.
  • Complete engineering design tasks while your workflow, tool usage, clicks, and design decisions are recorded for AI training.
  • Write and execute Python validation scripts to support the design workflow.
  • Work on tasks across multiple complexity levels, from simple to complex.
  • Review individual task details, time estimates, and pay before choosing whether to accept each assignment.
  • Participate in ad hoc freelance projects with full control over which tasks you take on.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Strong proficiency with open-source CAD software such as FreeCAD, KiCad, or similar.
  • Comfortable using Linux and/or Windows environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Reliable internet connection and access to a computer.
  • Python development experience with the ability to write and execute scripts independently (preferred).
  • Experience writing validation scripts, not just using pre-built tools (preferred).
  • Comfortable working from the command line (preferred).
  • Ability to complete a short screener of around 10 minutes.
  • Availability for fully remote, task-based freelance work with no fixed schedule or minimum hours.
