Description

  • Partner with Product and UX Design on discovery plans, customer identification, and research methodology selection.
  • Lead end-to-end research, including recruitment, discussion guides, facilitation, analysis, synthesis, and findings communication.
  • Conduct surveys, interviews, remote feedback sessions, usability testing, and prototype-based research.
  • Perform user outreach, use-case discovery, persona and journey mapping, validation, and usability studies.
  • Translate research findings into actionable product strategy and design recommendations.
  • Lead workshops and communicate research decisions and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Provide project leadership to researchers and designers on assigned initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Data Science, Customer Insights, and subject matter experts to improve research practices and user understanding.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a UX researcher or in a similar customer-focused research role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, statistics, human-computer interaction, information systems, or a related field.
  • Experience creating research strategies and discovery plans, developing discussion guides, selecting methodologies, and conducting studies.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills with the ability to synthesize findings into user-centered decisions.
  • Experience with Dovetail, User Interviews, Salesforce, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Pendo, or similar research and analytics tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, persuasion, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites approximately four times per year and attend occasional events at the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City offices.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot for research work.
  • Healthcare, medical, regulated, payer, acute-care, or financial application research experience preferred.
  • Experience with Figma and Miro and cross-functional collaboration across Product, Design, Engineering, Customer Success, Data Science, and Customer Insights preferred.
