Description

  • Drive the long-term technical strategy and evolution of the Document Domain.
  • Balance product needs, scalability, reliability, and developer experience in domain decisions.
  • Champion AI-driven development workflows to improve engineering effectiveness and productivity.
  • Mentor engineers and support technical growth across the organization.
  • Lead cross-team initiatives to deliver best-in-class document capabilities.
  • Align architecture and engineering practices across the track.
  • Improve reliability, quality standards, and the developer experience of the document platform.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the platform to support new product capabilities.

Requirements

  • At least 6+ years of development experience with Python.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, including SQL, migrations, and optimization.
  • Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ, NATS, or Kafka.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, DDD fundamentals, and asynchronous programming.
  • Fluency with AI workflows for development.
  • Experience mentoring other engineers.
  • Ability to work on domain strategy and make one-year plans.
  • Good understanding of the development cycle from requirements analysis and deployment to application monitoring.
  • Extensive hands-on experience developing applications.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, AsyncIO, or Grafana tooling is preferred.
