Description

  • Convert CAD geometry into simulation-ready models and set up CFD analyses.
  • Run fluid simulations using industry-standard CFD tools.
  • Perform meshing and verification activities, including mesh-independence studies.
  • Validate simulation results against experiments or benchmark data.
  • Create verified reference solutions for AI-agent evaluation.
  • Write Python checks to assess agent-generated results.
  • Review and evaluate AI-agent performance on expert-level fluid simulation tasks.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, energy, oil and gas, or a related field.
  • Several years of hands-on industry or research CFD experience.
  • Experience with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
  • Strong verification and validation experience, including mesh-independence studies and comparison with experiments or benchmarks.
  • Comfortable using Python and GitHub.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or above.
  • PhD in a relevant field preferred but not required.
  • Background in aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery preferred.
  • Experience with multiphase or particle-laden flows preferred.
