Description

  • Convert CAD geometry into simulation-ready CFD models and meshes.
  • Set up and run fluid simulations for expert-level tasks.
  • Build verified reference solutions for AI agent evaluation.
  • Write Python-based checks to assess agent results.
  • Apply mesh-independence studies and validation against experiments or benchmarks.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related energy or oil & gas field.
  • Several years of hands-on industry or research CFD experience using OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
  • Experience with simulation verification and validation, including mesh-independence studies and benchmark or experimental validation.
  • Proficiency with Python and GitHub.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or above.
  • PhD in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Background in aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery (preferred).
  • Experience with multiphase or particle-laden flows (preferred).
