Description

  • Set up and run fluid simulations from CAD geometry.
  • Create verified reference solutions for expert-level fluid simulation tasks.
  • Write Python-based checks to evaluate AI agent simulation results.
  • Apply verification and validation practices, including mesh-independence studies and benchmark or experimental comparisons.
  • Contribute high-quality solutions for AI training and evaluation projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field such as energy or oil and gas.
  • Several years of hands-on industry or research CFD experience.
  • Experience with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
  • Experience with verification and validation, including mesh-independence studies and validation against experiments or benchmarks.
  • Comfort with Python and GitHub.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or above.
  • PhD in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Background in aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery (preferred).
  • Experience with multiphase or particle-laden flows (preferred).
  • Availability for an estimated 10–20 hours per week during active project phases.
