Description

  • Oversee the end-to-end health plan enrollment process from application retrieval to client notification by coordinating with external vendor partners.
  • Personally complete highly escalated enrollment requests when needed.
  • Monitor in-process enrollments through consistent follow-up by phone, email, and portal, and maintain thorough documentation in Medallion systems.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of payer-specific enrollment requirements, supporting documentation, and applicable regulations.
  • Keep provider profiles and related records current with onboarding documents, application copies, welcome letters, and correspondence.
  • Prepare client updates on enrollment status and progress as needed.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with payer representatives and contracting departments to improve submission and approval timelines.
  • Support revalidation processes to maintain active provider participation in health plans.
  • Track payer enrollment timelines and deadlines to ensure submission compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve enrollment delays, rejections, and discrepancies by coordinating with providers, payers, and vendors.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of direct experience with payer enrollments or related enrollment processes.
  • Experience using Google Workspace tools, including GSheets, GDocs, and Gmail.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure complex enrollment packages are complete and accurate.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and build strong working relationships.
  • Familiarity with payer enrollment-related applications and processes.
  • Ability to stay current with payer policies, state and federal regulations, and industry best practices relevant to enrollment.
  • Experience handling escalated enrollment issues or high-volume account work is preferred.
