Description

  • Lead client discovery workshops covering data platforms, identity frameworks, integrations, and business requirements.
  • Design scalable architectures integrating Snowflake, Databricks, mParticle, Hightouch, Braze, and broader MarTech ecosystems.
  • Define data models, identity resolution, consent, governance, and data quality standards across brands and markets.
  • Develop technical roadmaps, delivery phases, estimates, and client approval plans.
  • Evaluate data technologies against business, performance, and commercial requirements.
  • Guide engineering teams in implementing and optimizing batch, event-driven, and low-latency data pipelines.
  • Establish data validation, monitoring, performance optimization, and engineering best practices.
  • Translate technical designs and analysis into clear business recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Mentor engineers and consultants, conduct technical reviews, and support continuous improvement.
  • Support proposals, pitches, workshops, strategic initiatives, and client expansion opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture or Solution Architecture, including at least 5 years in technical leadership.
  • Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms; Hightouch experience is preferred.
  • Experience integrating cloud data warehouses with MarTech, CRM, customer engagement, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of identity resolution, customer profiles, and linking anonymous and known customer activity.
  • Expertise in data modeling, pipeline architecture, reverse ETL, data integration, and performance optimization.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills, plus experience with version control, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.
  • Ability to lead discovery, translate business requirements into technical designs, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience estimating and documenting solutions, managing scope, and securing client sign-off.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and guiding technical delivery across multiple projects.
  • Agency or consulting experience managing multiple client engagements; willingness to travel when required.
  • Relevant certifications and familiarity with Braze, Amplitude, GA4, marketing automation, data privacy, security, and consent are preferred.
