Description

  • Support the firm’s external and internal bookkeeping, accounting, investor relations, and audit teams.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare and review budgets for various entities.
  • Oversee and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple corporate entities.
  • Perform periodic bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with loan compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute tax returns and other tax forms for various entities.
  • Communicate with and oversee third-party management companies across the portfolio.
  • Perform all duties in an honest, ethical manner and in compliance with laws, regulations, and firm policies.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of direct real estate accounting experience.
  • Direct experience with hotels and food and beverage operations is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of real estate financial statements and financial analysis.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Genuine interest in real estate.
  • Personal and professional integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Willingness to assign and personally assume accountability.
  • Location in LATAM countries such as Colombia, Argentina, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, or Chile.
