Description

  • Coordinate new product development programs within the personal grooming category against timelines, stage-gate requirements, and launch objectives.
  • Translate product concepts and innovation briefs into actionable development plans with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive formula development, claims testing, packaging development, artwork initiation, technical transfer, and production readiness.
  • Manage product costing, COGS development, gross-margin analysis, financial tracking, and pricing recommendations.
  • Track project status, identify risks, escalate issues, and coordinate mitigation plans.
  • Partner with PMO, Design, Marketing, QA, Regulatory, Packaging, Operations, and Channel teams to execute launches.
  • Maintain project documentation, timelines, action items, launch calendars, and progress reporting across multiple initiatives.
  • Support portfolio optimization and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in executional product development and category ownership.
  • Expertise overseeing the full product development lifecycle in the personal grooming category.
  • Technical experience in formula development and a process-driven approach.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Asana or equivalent project management systems, and specification systems.
  • Experience supporting successful product launches.
  • Ability to create and execute comprehensive launch calendars aligned with a company roadmap.
  • Experience overseeing formula development, claims testing, packaging, artwork, production, COGS analysis, and financial justification.
  • Strong communication, leadership, risk-management, collaboration, adaptability, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape.
