Description

Automate infrastructure creation using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Manage application configuration and implement Infrastructure as Code through deployment tools.
Own the build and release cycle for customer projects.
Deploy releases and support operations and maintenance activities.
Improve and maintain operations infrastructure such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Consul, Graphite, and Grafana.
Provide operational support to the engineering team and help migrate legacy infrastructure to the cloud.
Establish and enforce operational best practices.
Build scalable infrastructure for data platforms and tools such as Amazon EMR, Redshift, and SageMaker.
Implement automated monitoring and system health checks.
Train and guide the team in DevOps practices.

Requirements

4+ years of experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
4+ years of configuration management and engineering experience for large-scale customers, ideally in an Agile environment.
4+ years of Linux or Windows administration experience.
4+ years of experience with version control systems such as Git, including branching and merging strategies.
2+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure and platform services.
2+ years of experience with cloud automation tools such as Ansible or Chef.
Exposure to container services on AWS such as Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
Strong proactive mindset focused on improving reliability and operational effectiveness.
Preferred: expertise in multiple cloud providers, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Associate certification; AWS DevOps Professional certification.
