Description

  • Automate infrastructure creation using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Manage application configuration and implement Infrastructure as Code through deployment tools.
  • Own the build and release cycle for customer projects.
  • Deploy releases and support operations and maintenance activities.
  • Improve and maintain operations infrastructure such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Consul, Graphite, and Grafana.
  • Provide operational support to the engineering team and help migrate legacy infrastructure to the cloud.
  • Establish and enforce operational best practices.
  • Build scalable infrastructure for data platforms and tools such as Amazon EMR, Redshift, and SageMaker.
  • Implement automated monitoring and system health checks.
  • Train and guide the team in DevOps practices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • 4+ years of configuration management and engineering experience for large-scale customers, ideally in an Agile environment.
  • 4+ years of Linux or Windows administration experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with version control systems such as Git, including branching and merging strategies.
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure and platform services.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud automation tools such as Ansible or Chef.
  • Exposure to container services on AWS such as Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
  • Strong proactive mindset focused on improving reliability and operational effectiveness.
  • Preferred: expertise in multiple cloud providers, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Associate certification; AWS DevOps Professional certification.
