Description

  • Lead requirements workshops and discovery sessions with procurement, finance, IT, and data stakeholders.
  • Analyze and document current-state and future-state business processes and drive process improvements.
  • Facilitate alignment between business and technical teams and act as the primary business liaison.
  • Translate requirements into Power BI functional specifications, data models, KPIs, business rules, visualizations, and user stories.
  • Create and maintain BRDs, functional specifications, process maps, data mappings, and project documentation.
  • Support project planning, estimation, dependency management, milestone tracking, and RAID and decision logs.
  • Coordinate UAT, including test planning, defect management, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Support deployment, training, knowledge transfer, user adoption, and post-go-live hypercare.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level analysts and improve business analysis standards and delivery practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science, engineering, information systems, business, supply chain, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, including 1+ year in a lead or senior capacity.
  • Experience delivering business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or dashboard projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements elicitation, process analysis, stakeholder management, and business documentation.
  • Hands-on Power BI implementation experience, including dashboard design, data model reviews, requirements definition, and UAT.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI data modeling, star schemas, DAX, Row-Level Security, incremental refresh, and report design.
  • Knowledge of Azure data platforms, analytics architectures, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Japanese, with the ability to facilitate discussions and documentation in both languages.
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, prioritization, and organizational skills, with experience managing cross-functional and cross-cultural stakeholders.
  • Preferred: procurement analytics, spend classification, ERP or procurement platforms such as SAP MM, SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle Procurement, and procurement data structures or taxonomies such as UNSPSC and eClass.
