Description

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping across all accounts.
  • Categorize transactions correctly in QuickBooks.
  • Perform regular reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and payment platforms.
  • Monitor data integrity and resolve bookkeeping discrepancies promptly.
  • Track and manage cash flow on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide leadership with cash flow forecasts and liquidity insights.
  • Review, document, and improve internal financial workflows and controls.
  • Prepare clear internal financial reports and support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Work with external CPAs during tax filings, audits, and reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • At least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience for a U.S. company.
  • Strong expertise in QuickBooks.
  • Proven experience with detailed categorization and financial cleanup.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Ability to maintain at least 6 hours of overlap with Pacific Time working hours.
  • Willingness to work as an independent contractor.
  • Proof of qualifications and professional references may be required during the hiring process.
