Description

  • Design module content for one or more of the specialization’s four courses.
  • Create production-oriented labs, examples, and exercises in Go and TypeScript/Node.js.
  • Develop a reference implementation reflecting real-world fintech engineering practices.
  • Build an evaluation harness for assessing student work.
  • Write clear, technically precise instructor guides and supporting materials.
  • Incorporate Latin American payments, settlement, ledger, distributed systems, and regulatory concepts into course content.

Requirements

  • Direct professional experience at a payments fintech operating in Latin America, such as Clip, dLocal, Kushki, Ebanx, Stone, Conekta, or an equivalent company.
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Ability to write technical examples, labs, and exercises in both Go and TypeScript/Node.js.
  • Professional written English suitable for mid-to-senior software engineers.
  • Production engineering mindset focused on real-world systems rather than academic exercises.
  • Expertise in card payment flows, including ISO 8583, authorization, capture, reversal, settlement, BIN routing, acquiring, interchange, and familiarity with ISO 20022.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one Latin American instant payment rail: PIX, SPEI, or Transferencias 3.0.
  • Experience with multi-tenant event-sourced and double-entry ledgers, concurrency control, idempotency, transaction state machines, and double-spending prevention.
  • Understanding of Latin American clearing and settlement networks, BaaS, or Ledger-as-a-Service integrations, plus at least one regional regulatory framework.
  • Preferred: stablecoin settlement knowledge, technical documentation experience with RFCs/ADRs/OpenAPI, or Spanish-language capability for regional regulatory notes.
